On June 16, Power Sportz, India’s first live digital sports channel filed a complaint in the office of the Commissioner of Police, Gurugram. In the complaint, the sports channel has mentioned that a person called the office on 12th June at the Power Sportz office and has introduced himself as an official employee of the Ambience Mall, Gurugram.

The alleged man asked for the live streaming rights of India-Pakistan match to be screened at the Ambience Mall. On the other hand, the confidential information is provided to execute the live streaming procedure at the mall.

Thus, when Power Sportz asked official documents from him, it was learned that he was not an employee of the Ambience Mall and was disguised as one to get the information. At the point when approached Power Sportz suspects anybody for the same, Kanthi D Suresh, Editor-in-Chief of Power Sportz, in a statement stated that there is no particular needle of doubt on any group and it is up to the Gurugram Police to investigate into the problem.

It might be referenced that a Gurugram court on 8th June had restrained Star India Pvt Ltd from meddling with powersportz.tv’s right for the live broadcast of the Cricket World Cup in digital platform.
