There is no doubt that the creative industry has gender imbalances, with most women finding it hard to get their foot in the door. One woman who decided not to take no for an answer, but to think outside the box and actively create a platform to tackle the gender imbalance is artist Servanity.

Servanity has opened a photography and videography studio which offers services such as music video production, photo shoots and podcast recording to help enrich the portfolio of upcoming female creative’s.

Boss Lady TV (BLTV) offers services at a reduced rate to women, and also has a regular freestyle segment where some of the most talented females are invited in for a short interview and to record a freestyle video.

The studio is located in Tottenham, 2 minutes walk from seven sisters station. A central location to serve the local community and can be reached easily from all over London.

It is refreshing to see a black female business owner in a male led industry and we look forward to seeing how the studio progresses.
