Milan Hightower is a household name probably because he’s been on the scene for many years. The sensational songwriter and rapper didn’t just start the other day. At the age of 8, Milan was already practising and performing in major shows. Let’s take a journey back memory lane and look at some of his dominant performances.

He grew up in the Little Romeo and Bow Wow era, prompting him to start practising. They were his major inspiration, and he knew that he too could perform on big stages. He watched a lot of Michael Jackson’s music videos and practised those moves. He wanted to be an entertainer that was great at dancing and rapping.

With his parent’s support, Milan spent hours rehearsing, together with his siblings, to perfect their act. They were groomed for the music industry early. The hard work finally paid off, and soon Milan was on stage, opening the floor for Little Romeo. He also visited numerous elementary schools in his city, performing various acts.

His win was when he wrote the theme song for the Charlotte Bobcats mascot, “Rufus Lynx.” The song had significant success. Every year Milan and his brothers performed for Charlotte’s Coca Cola: Nascar Speed Street Weekend in downtown Charlotte.

Milan went on to enjoy other successes in music. In 2011, he was placed 2nd, on the TV show, 106 & Park.

Over the years, Milan has always been an outdoors guy, never missing out on events. For instance, On June 22, 2018, he attended the BET Experience Fan Fest at the Los Angelos Convention Centre. He hung out with friends like B.Simone, and was present for the Celebrity Dodgeball Game, got front row seats, and accessed the after-party.
