Yes, correct Dosa Sandwiches !! Ever thought of sandwiching together bread and dosa to make a dosa sandwich? Not sure? That’s where Chef Shilpa Shiravadekar’s unique idea comes into the picture!
She decides to combine South Indian dosa with western staple food; bread. We till now might be very familiar with eating dosa along with sambar or chutney but this recipe is bound to change the definition on how we can try the dish with! Talking of ingredients, well it isn’t that difficult as it may sound at first which makes it very easy for someone to try out at the comfort of their home!

Ingredients for veg sandwich
- Dosa batter – for 1 large dosa
- 1 bread slice
- 2 tbsp. Pudina chutney
- 2-3 boiled potato slices
- 2-3 tomato slices
- Finely chopped onion, green chilies, and coriander 2 tbsp
- 2 cheese cubes – grated
- Chili flakes and oregano as per taste
Egg sandwich
- Dosa batter – for 1 large dosa
- 1 bread slice
- 2 tbsp. Pudina chutney
- 1 boiled egg sliced
- 2-3 slices chopped onion
- 1 cheese cube grated
- 1 cheese slice
- Black pepper powder to taste
- Salt to taste
- Chili flakes and oregano as per taste
Chicken sandwich
- Dosa batter – for 1 large dosa
- 1 bread slice
- 2 tbsp. Pudina chutney
- 2-3 tbsp shredded boiled chicken
- 2-3 slices chopped onion
- 1 cheese cube grated
- 1 cheese slice
- Chili flakes and oregano as per taste
