What’s one of your long-term goals?

I want to give people access to global opportunities and technology that they don’t have right now. I’m from Gambia, which is one place that could use this support. I’d focus on funding technology, electricity, and basic needs. People don’t care about trading or entrepreneurship when they’re worried about their food, water, and housing. By providing them with their basic needs, I hope people will have more resources and energy to devote to other aspects of life, such as entrepreneurship.

What’s a motto that you live by?

My personal motto is: do good and good will come to you. That’s what guides me. When you put good energy out, it flows back to you and the cycle of good keeps on going. As far as my company, my slogan is: First you learn, then you remove the “L”.

What advice would you give to others in a similar situation?

Surround yourself with like-minded people and learn as much from them as you can. I’ve worked closely with a friend, who introduced me to forex trading originally. I was able to learn so much from him, both in forex and in business. You need that support system. Whether you hire a business coach or find friends, seek out people who will propel you in the right direction.
