A number of politicians and celebrities attended the wedding celebration that actor Swara Bhasker and politician Fahad Ahmad hosted on Thursday in Delhi. A paparazzi account posted a video of Congressman Rahul Gandhi attending the celebrations in Delhi on Instagram on Thursday.

In another video that just surfaced online, Derek O’Brien, the TMC’s leader, and actor and Samajwadi Party leader Jaya Bachchan were also visible. She met and shook hands with Shashi Tharoor when she arrived at the location.

On February 16, Swara made her engagement to Fahad Ahmad public. The actor posted pictures of the couple from court, claiming that they chose a court wedding and filed their paperwork on January 6 in accordance with the Special Marriage Act.
