After the 2023 edition of the league, MS Dhoni’s IPL future was discussed by CSK’s batting coach Michael Hussey.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings, will hit the pitch on Saturday afternoon when CSK plays the Delhi Capitals in the team’s final league contest of the 2023 season. There have been rumours about Dhoni’s future in the IPL; while the wicketkeeper-batter had made several allusions to the possibility that this might be his final game in the competition, he left fans wondering when he denied Danny Morrison’s claim that this would be his final season during the toss in the match against Lucknow Super Giants.
He continues to bat exceptionally effectively and is still driven to train, improve, and hit the ball properly. He has a history of entering the game late and providing strong finishes.
“He wants to wait as long as he can before entering the game and making an impact late in the inning. Before he steps in, he backs and has faith in people like Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, and Ambati Rayudu to complete the task, according to Hussey.
