What made you decide to launch Guestio?

When I first started as a podcaster, I was hustling to get good guests. My show was called Build Your Network, which was all about relationship-building to grow your business and achieve your goals. The number one question people kept asking me was, “I know how to podcast and I have good content, but how do I get better guests?” This software will make that easier by connecting people with their ideal guests.

What has surprised you most about running your own business?

The intricacies of each industry have been surprising. You think you know about podcasting and that there isn’t much more to learn. Then you get past that surface information and it keeps going deeper and deeper. One of the biggest pieces of feedback I get from coaching people is that they didn’t think there was this much they needed to know about podcasting. I feel the same way now as I’m entering the software space with Guestio. I’m just scratching the surface of everything there is to know.

Do you have any advice for those looking to do what you’ve done?

Get around people who have done what you want to do at the highest level. Having a good network is so important to getting you on the right track. It’s like having a fast pass to your goals.
