Yoga is a newer love affair for me than entrepreneurship. It didn’t happen in a Yoga studio or with a Yoga Guru, but rather through reading and incorporating it into my regular practise. Yoga had created an ineffable symphony in my life in a short period of time, and it had helped me envisage methods to support entrepreneurs like you.

Yoga for ‘Making The Move’

So far in my path, I’ve met a lot of successful startup owners (not wannrepreneurs) that practise Yoga. Some people in France and Luxembourg have expressed gratitude to me, as my understanding of Yoga was likely confined to a Yoga class and a mat.

It’s vital to understand that when I say ‘Yoga,’ I’m not referring to a few casual stretches or an asana, but rather to managing one’s mind, body, and spirit while engaging in slow physical motions. Yoga is more about honouring the trinity, and an entrepreneur who needs to balance out numerous cognitive signals falls into this category.

The anatomy of an entrepreneur has been divided into three categories in my book Make The Move — Demystifying Entrepreneurship: Fire, Knowledge, and Passion.

When you think about this anatomy, you should realise how crucial it is for an entrepreneur to balance the trinity while allowing it to fire. Yoga, like a nuclear reactor, may aid in the management of the elements that make up our entrepreneurial anatomy.

The aim isn’t to see if there’s a condition that must be met. Reading literature about yoga, such as Mudras for Modern Life, can assist one understand the impact of yoga. Yoga, on the other hand, can have a greater impact on an entrepreneur than it does on anyone else. When you’re in a stance where you need to react quickly, an entrepreneur knows how to respond in severe karmic situations. Yoga gives you hands-on experience of how you will respond to difficult / unexpected events in business and life.

These physical inversions gradually improved my ideations and helped me obtain a clear view on decision-making, from Sirsasana (Headstand) to Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand). And, despite the fact that they provided numerous bodily and emotional benefits, I preferred them since I knew they were assisting me in my professional development.

Yoga’s diverse poses allow you to embark on distinct journeys while connecting the movements to your own. Introducing yourself to the ancient technique of Yoga will assist you in discovering answers to questions you have about yourself that have remained unanswered.
