The forthcoming smartphone from Chinese company Oppo is expected to be released in the final quarter of this year.

The Oppo Find X8, instead of the curved display on the predecessor, is rumoured to have a 1.5K flat display, according to tipster Digital Chat Station.

Find X8 Display

Digital Chat Station omits the name of the flagship smartphone from his Weibo post. He does, however, reveal that the phone running on the Dimensity 9400 will have a 6.5-inch display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The ad also says that a Chinese display manufacturer will supply the panel.

The absence of a quad-curved shape on the front of the current smartphone prototype suggests that the Find X8 will have a flat display.

Camera Specifications

The Oppo Find X8 is expected to have a sizable circular camera system with Hasselband branding, according to the same post. The three lenses are a 50 MP ultrawide camera, a 3x periscope telephoto module, and a primary sensor from the Sony IMX9 series.

According to a previous source, the telephoto module is expected to feature an f/2.65 aperture, 73 mm focal length, and a 1/1.95 inches IMX882 sensor. Fascinatingly, the OnePlus 13 and Realme 13 Pro+ previously employed this telephoto module.

The Oppo Find X8, Oppo Find X8 Pro, and Oppo Find X8 Ultra are the three devices that have been mentioned in previous reports as being part of the Find X8 series. The X8 Ultra is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2025 and will be the last model to be unveiled.
