Sidharth Sagar, a regular cast member of The Kapil Sharma Show, has opted to leave the programme, marking yet another departure. On The Kapil Sharma Show, Sidharth Sagar has amused the audience with a variety of characters including Selfie Mausi, Ustaad Gharchordas, Funveer Singh (Ranveer Singh’s impersonator), and Sagar Pagletu.
According to a story in ETimes, Sidharth’s decision to leave the show was motivated by financial problems with the show’s producers. Sidharth apparently requested a pay increase, but the producers refused to do so, thus he made the decision to leave the programme.
I love Kapil, I enjoy the programme, Krushna stated in a statement to Indian Express. He has taken such good care of me over the years and is such a fantastic talent; he is like a buddy and brother. People used to tell me that he had changed, that he had an attitude, and that I shouldn’t participate in his show. However, I must say that the man is a really diligent artist. It’s not an easy job, the way he develops comedy while leading the team. After years of doing this, it’s incredibly challenging for us to produce new stuff. You frequently ask yourself, “What can be new?” But that man and that show are acting differently.
