Starring in the key characters of actor Suriya, Asin, and Nayanthara, AR Murugadoss’ romance drama “Ghajini” was directed by the filmmaker. Today marks the movie’s 19th anniversary, and it continues to be a huge sensation.

Girish Johar, an industry analyst, announced on social media that the movie will get a rerelease in Kerala the following month. His caption, which accompanied the Malayalam poster for the movie, said, “Original Cult Classic #Ghajini is being rereleased on Kerala mkt on 7th June with new digitised version.”

One of the great films ever made, Harris Jayaraj wrote the soundtrack.

Fans are going crazy over the news that the twenty-year-old film has been digitally restored and is being rereleased in cinemas. With “Ghajini” on the heels of Vijay’s “Ghilli,” records are predicted to be broken at the Kerala box office. Since the movie will only be available in Keralan theatres, the response to it hasn’t been as strong as it has for earlier re-releases.

Regarding his career, Suriya is still awaiting the release of his movie “Kanguva.” The epic period action drama, which is directed by Siva and features Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, DOP Nataraj, Redin Kingsley, and VTV Ganesh among others, has music created by Devi Sri Prasad. The visual effects and visuals for the movie are currently in post-production and will be finished by August. The movie’s release schedule has not yet been disclosed by the producers.

The actor’s next two films are directed by Sudha Kongara and Karthik Subbaraj, respectively, and are titled Suriya 43 and Suriya 44.
