Vivo is about to release a new smartphone. On May 16, the iQOO Z9x 5G will be sold in India through Amazon as well. Though the pricing is unknown at this time, it should only cost 250 euros or less because it is a (lower) mid-range model.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm is utilised. This means that the chip, which was unveiled in September 2022, lacks innovation and features four Cortex A78 and four Cortex A55 cores. Since the SoC includes a 5G modem, the iQOO Z9x 5G is also capable of connecting to contemporary, quick mobile networks.

Eight gigabytes of working memory are used; as is customary, a swap file can effectively double this amount of memory. The microSD card can also be used to increase the amount of memory that is internal. 128 gigabytes of internal memory are available, and Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14, is used by the manufacturer. Security updates will be accessible for an additional year, and software updates for a period of two years.

With a 7-step adjustment, the 6.72-inch display is marketed as having a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. One thousand cd/m² is the maximum brightness that is specified. There are two installed speakers. The iQOO Z9x 5G has IP64 certification, which means that, within specific bounds, it should be shielded from dust and water damage.
