In her words, Deepika Padukone expressed her and her actor husband Ranveer Singh’s desire to inculcate in their kids the same values that her parents inculcated in her. The actor talked about how her parents, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone, raised her and her sister, Anisha Padukone, in an interview with Vogue Singapore. She and Ranveer talked about starting a family of their own.
Deepika Padukone discusses her childhood:
“When I meet the people I have grown up with – my aunts, uncles, family friends – they always mention how I haven’t changed one bit,” Deepika Padukone said, thanking her parents. That reveals a lot about our childhood… It’s simple to get carried away by money and fame in this industry. At home, though, I’m treated like a nobody. Above all, I am a sister and a daughter. I hope that doesn’t change. My family helps me stay grounded, and Ranveer and I want to teach our kids the same morals.”
Deepika claims that she and Ranveer both like kids:
“It is something she looks forward to then,” Deepika Padukone responded when asked if becoming a mother. Both Ranveer and I like kids. We eagerly await the day when we may begin a family of our own.
