On Saturday, June 17, 41-year-old Kate Middleton paid a touching tribute to the late Princess Diana during the Trooping the Colour celebrations marking King Charles’ 75th birthday.

People reports that Diana’s stunning sapphire and diamond drop earrings were on display for The Princess of Wales at the event.

She had first donned the earrings in 2022, making their debut at the Trooping the Colour celebrations the previous year.

Middleton wore the accessories with an Andrew Gn-designed bright green dress and a Philip Treacy-made large matching hat.

Despite the fact that the monarch, who was recently crowned, will not turn 75 until Nov. 14, the celebration is an old custom that is held at the beginning of summer to take advantage of the beautiful weather.

On August 31, 1997, Princess Diana, the mother of Middleton’s 40-year-old husband, Prince William, died in a car accident in Paris, France.

The sapphire and diamond drop earrings that Middleton wore were once Princess Diana’s.

When she passed away, she was only 36.

Middleton has worn other pieces of her jewelry from her collection in memory of the late Princess, including the Lover’s Knot Tiara, which she wore to the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan earlier this month.

Diana had worn the headdress on different events, as indicated by Individuals.

According to Town & Country, a straightforward pearl bracelet with three strands that was created by Nigel Milne in 1988 is another piece of Diana’s that Middleton has previously been seen wearing.

The 12-carat blue sapphire sparkler that served as Middleton’s engagement ring also belonged to Diana.

The annual parade known as Trooping the Colour commemorates the monarch’s birthday.

After he proposed to her while on a trip to Kenya in 2010, Prince William presented it to her.

In addition, during a walkabout in Aberfan, Wales, in April, Middleton made a rare statement to fans, in which she discussed the significance of the engagement ring.

The Post previously reported that Middleton was heard saying, in footage posted to Instagram, “It was exactly the same size.” It is truly unique. To be able to wear it is an honor.

Diana also once owned Middleton’s engagement ring.

She also stated that she had “never met” Diana, who was also referred to as “the people’s princess.” However, she also stated that she was of the opinion that Diana would have made a “brilliant grandmother.”

Middleton went so far as to say that her husband’s mother is “missed every day.”

King Charles rode in the birthday celebrations this weekend on horseback with his two siblings, Princess Anne and Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh.

Along with her three children, Queen Camilla and Middleton rode in a horse-drawn carriage: Prince Louis, 5, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and
