His story is one of resilience, determination and courage, which inspires every soul to take charge and make a life for themselves.
The struggle of a hip-hop artist is often an under-reported story, but it’s a story worth telling. Many young people have taken to the art of hip-hop in order to make something of themselves, even though the odds are often stacked against them. One such artist is our focus for today, a young man who has come a long way since his early days of drug use and delinquency. He is Harpreet Singh, better known as Happy Singh amongst music circles. This artist was raised in a disadvantaged environment, which made it difficult for him to foresee a successful future. He found solace in hip-hop, though, and made it his mission to make something of himself. Despite his lack of resources, he was determined to make music and eventually began working on his craft, which took him great lengths.
In the early days of his career, Singh was battling a severe drug addiction, which put a strain on his relationships and limited his career growth. Despite being surrounded by a culture of addiction, he chose to stay away and worked hard to stay sober and set a good example for the people around him. It wasn’t until he began to focus on his music that he was able to take control of his life. He began to make a name for himself in the hip-hop scene and soon gained a loyal following. Since then, Singh has done exceedingly well as a rapper, singer, songwriter and producer, having gained global recognition owing to his work. After ISAW Records signed him, his career has been on an uprise as he has been featured on some of the most popular hip-hop albums in the world, and his music has been streamed millions of times.
Moreover, he has even opened up for artists like Tyga, Jeremiah and Yo Gotti, as well as many others from the music fraternity. He is also credited for writing for actor Mathew Noszka, an upcoming artist under CEO of Murder Ink Records, Irv Gotti. Singh attributes much of his success to his dedication and perseverance. He is proud of the fact that he has been able to overcome the struggles of his early days as a drug addict and achieve success as a music artist. His story of overcoming addiction and achieving success is a testament to the power of determination and hard work.
