According to Samsung, the March 2024 security patch will be included in the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series in Korea (via @tarunvats33). We can infer from the company’s most recent announcement when the next major update for its flagship smartphone series from last year will be released.

Since Samsung hasn’t released a security update for this quarter yet, it will have to do so before the end of this month. The upgrade will most likely be the March 2024 security patch. Samsung provides one security update every quarter to the Galaxy S23 series in Korea. Given that and the recent announcement from the business, it appears that Samsung has officially announced that, at the very least in Korea, One UI 6.1 will be rolling out to the Galaxy S23 series by the end of this month.

Samsung ought to begin rolling out the updated One UI to Galaxy S23 owners outside of Korea as soon as it launches in that country. Put otherwise, One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S23 family won’t even be available in a month. Following that, One UI 6.1 should be released by the firm to further devices, beginning with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. It is important to note that Samsung has begun to distribute the Galaxy S23 series security patch for March 2024 in the United States.
