OPPO Introduces the A5x 5G with a Long-Lasting Battery and Durable Design

The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC powers the Oppo A5x 5G smartphone, which the company has introduced in India. The sole version of the smartphone with 4GB RAM and 128GB of on-board storage costs Rs 13,999.

The OPPO A5x 5G smartphone, which costs Rs 13,999, has 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone, which is available in Midnight Blue and Laser White, will be on sale on May 25 on a few traditional stores as well as e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and OPPO shops.

Features and Specifications

The Oppo A5x 5G dual SIM (nano + nano) is powered by ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. It has an HD+ 6.67-inch (1,604 x 720 pixel) screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. With its Splash Touch and Glove Touch technologies, the phone can be touched with wet fingertips, mist, oil, or protective gloves.

The Oppo A5x 5G is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, up to 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The company claims that it is practically possible to add an extra 4GB of RAM. In order to optimize performance, Oppo also equips the phone with a Trinity Engine.

The smartphone has a dual camera unit for optics, which includes an unidentified depth sensor and a 32-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and auto-focus capability. Additionally, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and selfies. The Oppo A5x 5G’s camera system is enhanced by a number of AI-powered capabilities. To improve image quality, restore details, and eliminate unwanted objects, it includes AI Eraser 2.0, Reflection Remover, AI Unblur, and AI Clarity Enhancer. The company claims that the AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 facilitates drag-and-drop ease, smooth cross-app editing, and multi-subject extraction.

The Oppo A5x 5G has 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C as connectivity options. It features a fingerprint sensor on the side for biometric verification. The phone is said to be IP65 rated for water and dust protection, SGS Gold Certified, and MIL-STD shock resistant. It weighs 194g and has measurements of 165.71 x 76.24 x 7.99mm.
