Samsung’s One UI 8 software upgrade is now available to early adopters. Users in the US, UK, Germany, and South Korea who own Galaxy S25s, S25+, and S25 Ultras can now access the beta version.
One UI 8 Beta Features
AI Improvements at the Foundation
In order to enhance daily use, Samsung explained that One UI 8 Beta includes significant advancements in artificial intelligence (AI). It focuses on three main areas: customized pre-suggestions, multimodal functionality, and instrument form factor optimization.
Improvements in User Experience (UX)
With the first, the AI can identify the material on the screen in real time for “natural interactions.” The user experience (UX) has been adapted to the many form factors of Galaxy devices to boost efficiency and productivity and provide interactions that are best suited to the user’s everyday routine. In addition to offering suggestions and personalized greetings, the Now Bar and Now Brief features will now offer work management.
Better Security & Camera Features
Users of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series can access the camera fast controls by swiping up or down anywhere in the preview area when using One UI 8 Beta. Additionally, while the Secure Folder is locked, it may be utilized to hide apps and disable notifications. Users of Samsung DeX have the option of rotating the screen up to 270 degrees and selecting an optimized display resolution up to WQHD. By allowing one of the apps to be pinned at the border of the screen, One UI 8 enhances the split-screen experience.
Reminder: Updates to the App
Preset templates and auto-complete recommendations have been added to the Reminder app. With a simple swipe, users may share files, such to-do lists, with their loved ones. Voice-based commands can also be used to add notifications.
Samsung Social Integration & Health
Galaxy users can now create running distance challenges to compete against one another. Additionally, they can use the Samsung Health app to establish reminders for tracking their food intake.
