In preparation of releasing a new mid-range smartphone, OnePlus has decided to reveal it on April Fool’s Day, at least in India.

The Indian market will see the release of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 on April 1. On its official website, OnePlus has already revealed the device’s specifications, including its design and the chipset it contains.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip from Qualcomm will power the upcoming Nord CE 4, which will replace the Nord CE 3 from last year. With the goodness of AI intended at mid-range Android phones, it was introduced back in November. The first smartphone to use the newest mid-range chipset, a 4nm chipset with clock rates of up to 2.63GHz, was the Vivo V30, which was released early this month.

OnePlus claims seamless multitasking, gaming, scrolling, and any other in-between actions.

Regarding design, there will probably be two color options for the device: a conventional black hue and a different shade of green with a textured surface. On the back, a triple-camera system is visible. In contrast to other OnePlus phones, the company appears to be choosing a new camera location that is similar to Samsung Galaxy phones, with a vertical array system housed in a unique visor.

With the mid-range Nord CE 4 just a few weeks away, OnePlus promises that on March 14th, additional specifications will be unveiled. We anticipate learning about the device’s camera, battery, and other features.

However, a few intriguing details about the OnePlus Nord CE 4, which is purported to be an updated version of the forthcoming Oppo K12, has been leaked by tipster Digital Chat Station. It appears that OnePlus plans to release the same device in China under the name OnePlus Ace 3V.

In addition, the source claims that the smartphone will have a glass back cover and a flat screen, which explains the previously reported textured finish.
