The Zurich Classic of New Orleans has been won by the Irish duo of Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry, who defeated Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer in a play-off.
The goal was set at 25 under by American Ramey and French player Trainer, who shot a nine-under 63.
McIlroy and Lowry forced a play-off by birdieing the last hole to shoot 68.
Trainer missed his par putt, and they won by making a par on the opening play-off hole.
For McIlroy, it’s his 25th PGA Tour victory, while for former Open champion Lowry, it’s his third.
After falling five behind at the beginning of the final round, they caught up with four birdies in five holes around the turn.
Ryan Brehm and Mark Hubbard, two Americans, finished one shot behind with four players tied at 23 under.
