Just one month after its April 11 theatrical launch, “Aavesham,” which stars the incomparable talent of Fahadh Faasil, debuted on OTT.
With English subtitles, the captivating action-comedy featuring Fahadh Faasil’s distinct charm can now be streamed on Amazon Prime Video in its original Malayalam language.
“Aavesham,” which debuted with great fanfare and had the biggest opening of all the Vishu films, made a splash at the box office upon its big screen debut.
In just three weeks, the movie bounded into the Rs 100 crore club, becoming the eighth Malayalam film of the year to accomplish this feat. It is noteworthy since it became the highest-grossing solo project of Fahadh Faasil.
The OTT behemoth paid a record-breaking Rs 35 crores for the digital rights to “Aavesham.”
It’s interesting to note that none of the previous Vishu films, such as “Jai Ganesh,” “Aadujeevitham,” and “Varshangalkku Shesham,” have made the switch to OTT platforms.
“Aavesham,” which was directed by Jithu Madhavan and stars Fahadh Faasil as the local thug Ranga, is unquestionably one of the best action comedy films in Mollywood.
