An Ex-wife Kiran Rao reveals that Aamir Khan was deeply affected by the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha

When Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, eventually debuted in theaters in August 2022, it disappointed fans despite being one of the most awaited films. The movie only grossed Rs 60 crore at the Indian box office, failing to make an impression. Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Kiran Rao has now disclosed that the actor was “deeply affected” by Laal Singh Chaddha’s failure, more than a year after the movie’s premiere.

Kiran recently stated, as reported by E-Times, “It’s really disheartening when you put in all the effort and it doesn’t work, which happened with Laal Singh Chaddha and it definitely affected Aamir quite deeply.” She went on to say that the entire crew had been impacted by the movie’s failure in along with Aamir.

Laal Singh Chaddha, which was released on August 11, 2022, had notable scenes from Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya. It was the official Hindi version of Tom Hanks’ 1994 film Forrest Gump, directed by Advait Chandan.

In the past, Kareena Kapoor also recounted her first encounter with Aamir Khan following the box office flop of Laal Singh Chaddha, stating that the actor appeared quite apologetic.
