Bigg Boss 16 contestant Tina Datta claims she was unaware of Shalin Bhanot’s past and that she just found out about it after she came out

The Bigg Boss 16 finale is getting closer by the day. Bigg Boss 16’s Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is the first participant to get to the grand finale. Popular actress Tina Datta was expelled from the home just a few days earlier. She was one of the most competitive candidates on the Salman Khan-hosted reality TV series, thus it came as a huge shock. With her relationship with Shalin Bhanot and their spat, Tina Datta had a turbulent time inside Bigg Boss 16’s house, which led to her character being attacked later. The actress has now shared details of her experience competing in Bigg Boss 16.

In an interview with the online publication Rediff, Tina Datta disclosed that Shalin Bhanot was someone she had never met before entering the Bigg Boss 16 house. The actress promised to look after him no matter what. Whether it was making chicken for him to eat or anything else he required assistance with. After entering the home, Tina confessed that she became Shalin’s buddy.

Salman Khan had criticised Tina Datta for exploiting Shalin Bhanot’s emotions in the weeks leading up to her eviction. She grew close to Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and the two of them used to criticise Shalin for his actions. The following week, Tina experienced a major emotional collapse after Salman confronted her and accused her of leaking their private chats within the home. Tina said that Shalin tried to get in touch with her so they could work as a team. Tina and Shalin are both under the same PR’s management. According to Shalin, Tina didn’t want the PR to handle any other celebrities, but since he had been handled by the same team for many years, he wasn’t ready to switch teams.
