Kajol’s first web series, The Trial, shows her torn between her personal and professional lives

The trailer for Kajol’s new web series The Trial – Pyaar Kanoon Dhokha was released on Monday. Kajol will make her OTT debut in The Trial, which will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. We got the best look yet at Kajol’s part in the courtroom drama in the two-minute clip. In the courtroom drama, Kajol plays housewife Noyonika Sengupta, who is compelled to start working again as a lawyer after her husband’s public scandal lands him in jail.

Then, Noyonika, played by Kajol, does something she hasn’t done in years: she enters the courtroom again. As she pursues justice for herself and her family, she is subject to criticism from both the public and her fellow attorneys.

Kajol will soon be viewed in Lust Stories 2 on Netflix. The teaser for Lust Stories 2 was shared by the anthology series’ creators last week to promote the sequel. In Lust Stories 2, Kajol will appear with Neena Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Amruta Shubhash, Tillotama Shome, and Kumud Mishra.
