The 2025 3 Series, which incorporates mild hybrid technologies and improved engine technology, was unveiled by BMW AG. The 2025 M3 performance sedan has also undergone updates. It now has new headlights, a revised interior, and more power for the all-wheel-drive Competition variants, which now produce 503 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.

With the possible exception of two new color options-Fire Red metallic and Arctic Race Blue metallic—that are only available with the M Sport package, the 2025 BMW 3 Series’ appearance is almost unchanged from the present model. New 19-inch alloy wheels are also part of the selection; the M Sport option comes with unique 19-inch M alloy wheels.

The 2025 BMW 3 Series gets substantial interior upgrades. The M340i and 330i M Sport versions have a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel, while the 330i variation has a revised two-spoke steering wheel. The infotainment system has been updated with a more user-friendly layout, and ambient lighting has been added around the air vents on the dashboard. Running on BMW’s most recent 8.5 OS, which includes BMW iDrive and QuickSelect, is the new 3 Series.

The 2025 BMW 3 Series comes with a number of powertrain options, depending on the market, including petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrids. The old 12 kWh battery has been replaced with a larger 19.5 kWh battery in the plug-in hybrid model. The 101 km electric-only range and 11 kW three-phase AC charging are supported by this eDrive Gen5 battery.

Now available as a 48-volt mild hybrid, the 2025 3 Series and M Performance versions share this feature. The M340i gains 386 horsepower and 540 Nm, up from 382 horsepower and 500 Nm, while the 330i maintains its power output. All engines are linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which may be configured for either all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive.

The 2025 3 Series’ suspension has also been updated by BMW, with more firm rear shock mounts and a lighter steering feel when in ‘Comfort’ mode. It is predicted that the new 3 Series would go into production later this year for international markets, and that it will be available in India by late 2024 or early 2025.
