Gauss, a self-developed AI system, was introduced by Samsung. Three essential parts make up the Samsung Gauss model: the Samsung Gauss Language, Samsung Gauss Code, and Samsung Gauss Image.

At the Samsung AI Forum on Wednesday afternoon, Samsung revealed Samsung Gauss, a revolutionary generative AI model. Honoring the memory of the eminent mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss, who is best known for his contributions to the theory of normal distribution.

The introduction of Gauss demonstrates how gadget makers-particularly those of smartphones and cPCs-are embracing AI and all of its potential benefits for their customers.

The news was made during Samsung Research and Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology’s flagship annual Samsung AI Forum in Seoul, which has been held there since 2017.

The Gauss model was created by Samsung Research and is currently being utilized internally at Samsung to increase worker productivity. In the future, intentions are to expand the model’s relevance to include a number of product functions.

Three essential parts make up the Samsung Gauss model: the Samsung Gauss Language, Samsung Gauss Code, and Samsung Gauss Image.

The Language component, also known as a generative language model, is designed to increase productivity by helping with activities like document summarizing, translation, and email writing.

It has the potential to improve consumer experiences by providing smarter device control, in addition to business applications. Furthermore, the versatility of the framework applies to both on-device and cloud-based apps.

The Code component presents “code,” a coding helper created to help businesses with internal software development. An interactive interface that facilitates features like test case generation and code explanation helps developers by expediting the coding process.

The Image module is dedicated to producing and manipulating images with ease. Its versatility in manipulating visual content is demonstrated by the capacity it gives users to add, change, and convert low-resolution photos to high-resolution ones.

Samsung emphasizes the models’ applicability on devices while highlighting the safeguarding of customers’ personal data. Additionally, the business actively tackles security and privacy issues at every level of AI adoption, from data collecting to service deployment, through its AI Red staff, a specialized staff.

With a dedication to privacy and security, Samsung’s pursuit of AI innovation has advanced significantly with the launch of Samsung Gauss.
