On June 6, Vivo is scheduled to introduce the X Fold 3 Pro in India. The launch date and important specifications of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s next foldable smartphone are highlighted on a landing page that has been posted on its official India website. With its flagship-inspired Zeiss optics and Google Gemini-powered AI capabilities, Vivo’s first foldable smartphone in India is poised to upend the market.

Vivo X Fold3 Pro: What to expect

The camera system in the Vivo X Fold3 Pro is modelled after the X100 Pro, the company’s flagship smartphone in the X-series lineup. As per the details provided on the listing page, the camera system is going to use Zeiss optics. According to Vivo’s website, the X Fold3 Pro would be the lightest and thinnest foldable smartphone in India, weighing 236g and measuring only 11.2mm when folded.

Vivo explained that when the smartphone was unfolded, its 8.03-inch primary screen would have a maximum brightness of 4500 nits. According to Vivo, TUV Rheinland has verified the X Fold3 Pro’s hinge for up to 5,000 foldings.

The device’s Google Gemini AI-powered features, which include “AI Note Assist” for text summarization, “AI Transcript Assist” for transcription of voice notes, and “AI Screen Translation” for translating the text on the display to a preferred language, would be the most noteworthy feature, though.
