Sutapa Sikdar, the late actor Irrfan Khan’s widow, has stated that she intends to publish a book about the late star to explore his comedic side.

Sutapa Sikdar, a writer and the widow of the late actor Irrfan, has stated her ambition to publish a book about the late actor’s character. She also clarified in a recent interview that she has no plans to embark on a “sentimental journey” whenever that book is published.

Sutapa stated, “I want it to be a funny journey, which I shared with him,” according to news agency PTI. He was not as menacing and serious in real life as people believed him to be. The book is not yet finished, but it will be at some point.

Irrfan lost his battle with a neuroendocrine tumour in April 2020, after a two-year battle. Sutapa, his wife, and their sons Babil and Yuvaan Khan are his only survivors. With Netflix’s Qala, Babil made his acting debut the previous year. Sutapa had written a touching letter about their journey together after his passing. Ours was a union, not a marriage, she declared in her letter. I see my small family paddling a boat as Irrfan commands them to “take a turn from here, not from there,” since life is not a movie and there are no do-overs. My kids Babil and Ayaan are the paddlers.
