The third season of the popular criminal drama Mirzapur on Amazon Prime Video was eagerly awaited by fans. The actors of the show made the announcement that their show would be published very soon at a special event earlier last month. Attendees at the event included cast members Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, and Shweta Tripathi. Rasika Dugal has now discussed the factors which attract viewers to the franchise.
“Having the respect and fan base that Mirzapur has is a lovely thing; it’s very beautiful to have it in my life, and the show’s loyalty is very strong.” We finished season three, and fans will soon be able to watch it, which makes me extremely happy. Rasika Dugal expressed her excitement for them to PTI.
“I think the reason Mirzapur has a fan base is because people genuinely care about the characters. It has nothing to do with the heat the show is. It’s all about how people relate to that character, and we’ve already worked on that every season. This season, too, we’ve given it our all,” the actress continued.
The show’s storyline centers on the cruel rich carpet exporter and mafia don of Mirzapur, Akhandanand Tripathi, and his useless, power-hungry son Munna, who would do whatever it takes to carry on his father’s legacy. When he happens to run upon respectable lawyer Ramakant Pandit and his kids, Guddu and Bablu, during a wedding procession, chaos erupts. The third season of Mirzapur was filmed around Uttar Pradesh, particularly in Lucknow and Jaunpur, much like its predecessors.
Following the enormous popularity of the first two seasons of the show, viewers are now anxiously anticipating the announcement of the third season’s release date, which will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
