The Xiaomi Pad 6 series has expanded with the unveiling of the new Pad 6 Max on Monday at a launch event in China. The Chinese maker also unveiled its newest Xiaomi Band 8 Pro alongside the tablet. The most recent member of the Pad 6 series has a 14-inch LCD screen and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The Band 8 Pro, meanwhile, has a 1.74-inch AMOLED screen. It is powered by a 289mAh battery, which thanks to the wearable’s quick charging technology can be fully charged in just 80 minutes.

Price and Availability of the Xiaomi Band 8 Pro and Pad 6 Max

The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max has a starting price of CNY 3,799 (about Rs. 43,800) in China. The high-end edition with 16GB RAM + 1TB storage is available for CNY 4,799 (approximately Rs. 55,000), while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage one is priced at CNY 3,999 (about Rs. 46,000), the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage one at CNY 4,399 (roughly Rs. 50,400), and so on. The keyboard case and stylus may be purchased separately for CNY 799 (about Rs. 9,150) and CNY 499 (about Rs. 5,700), respectively. The tablet is available in the colors Silver and Black.

The Xiaomi Band 8 Pro costs CNY 399 (about Rs. 4,570) for the Black and Coconut Ash TPU wristband option and CNY 499 for the Harbor Blue leather wristband option.

For the time being, only Chinese Xiaomi outlets, both online and offline, will sell both products.

Specifications for the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max

The 14-inch, 2.8k, 120Hz-refresh Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is the most expensive model in the Xiaomi Pad 6 series. A 6.53mm thin metal body is provided. Powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the tablet. It comes with up to 1TB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM. It utilizes Android 13 and MIUI Pad 14 software.

A 20-megapixel selfie camera for video calls is located on the front. There is a 50-megapixel camera on the back. The stylus is not required, although the keyboard is removable.

There are 8 speakers on board with Dolby Atmos for improved sound quality. A 10,000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging support powers it. Due to its 33W reverse charging capability, the organization also offers the Pad 6 Max as a power bank option.

At the occasion, the company also unveiled the Xiaomi Band 8 Pro, a wearable. The 1.74-inch AMOLED display on the rectangle dial has a resolution of 336X480 pixels. There are 10 different strap variations and more than 100 watch faces available for the smart band.

It has a ton of health monitoring capabilities, including heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sleep, and female health monitoring. Along with an ambient light sensor, the wristwatch also has acceleration, optical heart rate, and blood oxygen sensors.

GNSS, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3 are all supported for communication on the Xiaomi Band 8 Pro. With a 289mAH battery, it has a 14-day runtime on a single charge. The wearable also has a water resistance rating of 5ATM, and the Mi Fitness app can be used to link it to a device.
