1. Choose a niche for yourself that you’re confident in and work your way to the top of the food chain.

“A person’s charisma and personality will reflect in their work. If you lack confidence, your followers will know. A major step in getting noticed on social media is indeed sticking out from the crowd. Every relevant influencer today is known for something unique that they’ve done, or continue to do. As time progresses, the excitement will wear off, and your audience will require more from you to be satisfied. Stand out from the crowd by having a unique personality that your followers will remember you for, and stick with that.”

2. Collaborations are a great way to reach new audiences.

“Something almost every influencer will do is collaborate with other accounts with a similar sized audience. While you advertise and encourage your audience to follow another account, that account will do the same for you. This is an excellent way to expand your reach and grow your brand. Pay close attention to this, as you’ll learn what your followers are most comfortable with you advertising, while also learning which audiences convert the best for you.”

3. Study your audience and what time of the day they’re most active.

“Don’t underestimate the power in this. All platforms allow accounts a feature to view their analytics. This is where you can see what days of the week your followers are using the platform most, and what specific time they’re most active. Posting at peak times will lead to better engagement on your content. The benefit of this is that you can use this to your advantage when making brand deals with companies. If a company is paying you to advertise them, you’d of course want them to be happy. Posting their advertisement during the most active time of the day will likely lead them to sponsoring you again in the future. Another benefit is if you’re relying on organic growth, posting at peak time can have your content seen by larger audiences and help grow your follow count. If a post is doing well in engagement, AI will boost it on your followers’ feeds, leading to more people seeing your content.”
