Isha, the daughter of Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), is recognized for driving the growth of Reliance Retail into new markets, product categories, and format types.

The Indian Businesswoman Award was given on Thursday to Isha Ambani, the director of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd. She gave the entire Reliance family her award.

“I appreciate this enormous honor. As the name suggests, Lokmat has served as Maharashtra’s voice for the people. Isha Ambani stated in her statement that Lokmat has been essential in informing and empowering our society over many years.

“I feel incredibly honored. I am really honored to get this recognition because my mother, Nita Mukesh Ambani, is my greatest inspiration and role model. She was the winner of this award in 2016. Maharashtra is more than simply a home for our family. We have a karma bhoomi, she continued.

As a Member of the Board of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, Reliance Foundation (RF), Reliance Foundation Institution of Education and Research, and Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Isha Ambani is a member of the executive leadership teams at these organizations.

Reliance Retail’s expansion into new categories, geographies, and formats can be credited to Isha, the daughter of Reliance Industries Limited’s (RIL) Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani. She led Reliance Retail’s growth in the digital space and introduced new ventures like the online beauty platform Tira and the e-commerce company Ajio.

Additionally, she was involved in the establishment and management of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, which opened in Mumbai in March 2023.

After completing her studies at Yale University, Isha Ambani double majored in psychology and South Asian studies. She is listed among the rising talents from around the world’s industries in TIME magazine’s TIME100 Next list.

Isha, who graduated from Stanford University with an MBA, was honored at the Forbes India Leadership Awards 2023 with the esteemed GenNext Entrepreneur Award.
